Sports fans young and old may enjoy watching the Vermont High School State Championships in Ultimate Frisbee which to be held at Middlebury Union High School on Thursday. The girls' championship game between Burlington and St. Johnsbury begins at 4:30 p.m. The boys' championship game between Burlington and South Burlington begins at 6:30 p.m. Don't let a little precipitation dampen your enthusiasm. Thanks to the ace MUHS grounds staff, Doc Collins Field is the finest Ultimate venue in the state. These will be excellent matches and fun for kids to watch, too. As this is a championship event sponsored by the Vermont Principals' Association there will be a modest entry fee. You can have dinner, too! Profits from the concession stand, staffed by MUHS Ultimate players and parents will accrue to our local team!
