Join us for an interactive electric vehicle (EV) showing this week. This is a big day! We are thrilled to provide an advocacy platform for the Richmond Climate Action Committee and Drive Electric Vermont to educate and inspire community members to take the electric plunge. We will have 6+ electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles for you all to investigate. EV owners will be available to share their experience with the purchasing process and ownership experience. Drive Electric Vermont representatives will be available to share about incentive & tax-rebate opportunities. These folks hold a wealth of knowledge about how to embark on the EV ownership journey. This is a rare opportunity to have so many different EV makes and models and industry expertise all in one place. Just think, it saves you a cumbersome trip to the dealerships on route 7 (phew). For some, purchasing an EV may actually be the most cost effective way to acquire a great car. It's a win-win - save money, save the earth.
Fingers crossed for another sunny Friday (but remember, we are indeed a rain or shine market)! The market runs from 3-6:30pm.
A note about parking…please(!), please(!), please(!) park on the left side of the Volunteer's Green municipal parking lot, along the road heading to the baseball fields, or at the municipal lot by the town hall. Do not park on the right side of the parking lot which is reserved for Stones Throw Pizza customers only.
