Join both Hattie White, owner of Apis Garden Coach and a certified horticulturalist, and Craig Volpe, reigning Slayer of Bishops Weed, as they open up their blossoming property for this event!
Bishops Weed goes by a few names (goutweed, ground elder, snow on the mountain, ...) and is unfortunately a common tenaciously invasive plant found here in Underhill. Our plan is to show you how to successfully mitigate the weed through an understanding of this growth habits along with providing management strategies for this invasive.
We will also be providing a garden walk showing off numerous native and perennial plants in a few of our gardens.
$10 suggested donation, We are thinking it's going to be a 2-hour event.
