Dear neighbors,
There are big plans afoot for the South End – Innovation District, multimodal hub, Champlain Parkway, bathhouse & bowling alley, new park at the Barge Canal. Let's talk together about all of this.
The June 16 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) will be entirely focused on the future of the South End. You can attend in person (DPW Conference Room, 645 Pine Street) or by Zoom (see info below). The meeting starts at 7 PM with our usual Public Forum.
After Public Forum, we will spend the first part of the meeting just talking to each other. A facilitated discussion of the future of the South End – your ideas, dreams, concerns, questions – will allow us to get all the issues out on the table. This will be followed by a Q&A session with city representatives from Planning & Zoning, DPW, City Council and CEDO. They will be there to answer our questions and to share their own vision of South End development.
This meeting needs YOU. Please come on Thursday, June 16 with your thoughts and questions. Invite family members and friends. For more information, check out our website: npa5.org. If you have questions about the meeting, write me.
Hope to see you there.
Andy
