The 2nd Congregational Church was founded in 1887 and has been a fixture in Jeffersonville ever since. The church's importance to the community cannot be overstated. In addition to the customary Sunday services, the church houses the local food pantry and other communitywide programs. The history of the church is the history of Cambridge.
