Free flax-to-linen activities at Smokey House Center in Danby this coming Wednesday through Saturday, June 8-11, 10am-4pm If you would like to learn how to grow, harvest and process flax for traditional linen making, come on by and say hello! We are growing 1/3 acre of textile flax at Smokey House Center this summer, and you can check out the progress of the crop. I'll be there with the tools and materials used to turn flax fiber into linen.
