Town of Barre Recreation Department will be hosting their first Outdoor Family Movie night - The Big Friendly Giant has been selected for this first showing. Movie will start when darkness allows (9:00pm estimate) Folks can arrive any time before to select their spot, lay out a blanket, set up their chairs etc. We encourage folks to bring outdoor games and let the kids play while they wait. We have a 13 foot screen that the movie will be projected on - we will be set up on the softball field (across from the tennis courts) Boy Scout Troup #1 will be on hand providing concessions, so just bring your chairs/blanket and grab your spot. Thanks to Barre Rotary for use of their Projector and JD Green of Aired Out for use of Audio equipment - we hope this event is well received and we'll plan up some more throughout the summer. Event is FREE to attend and we hope you support the scouts at their concession stand but you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
