The Vermont Physicians for a National Health Program and the Community of Vermont Elders will co-sponsor a virtual forum Monday, June 6, at 7 PM concerning Government plans for privatization of Medicare. Rather than improving Medicare by reducing deductibles or copays, creating a cap on out of pocket spending, or adding hearing, vision or dental benefits, Medicare is planning to hand over your policy to private corportations. Unless the Biden administration acts to cancel the "ACO-REACH" program, all Medicare beneficiaries will be in for-profit managed care by 2030.
