Seven Stars Arts Center in Sharon, VT is hosting a singing workshop on June 19 from 4 to 5:30PM, for a sliding scale fee of $10 to $20.

COVID vaccination cards and masks will be required of all participants.

Roberta Kirn, founder of BeWellSing is a singer, percussionist, and dancer who believes that everyone can sing and that singing together brings us into a deeper connection with ourselves and each other. Raising our voices, becoming more grounded in our bodies, and having a communal experience of rhythm, melody, and harmony is a deeply healing experience that can be shared across age, gender, race, class, and culture. When we sing, we feel our common humanity and our hearts open. We are energized and uplifted.

Roberta shares easy-to-learn songs and chants from around the world as well as working with improvisational Circlesongs. Her most important teachers have been Ysaye Barnwell and Bobby McFerrin.

Come and learn songs, explore rhythm games and experiment with vocal improvisation in a playful and relaxed atmosphere, freeing your voice and your body, leaning in and loosening up.
