The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) invites you to attend a public presentation for the Ludlow Village Bridge #26 NH DECK(49) project as part of the regularly scheduled Ludlow Select Board Meeting. The project will improve safety on the Vail Bridge over Jewell Brook. The presentation will include a project overview, construction schedule and anticipated impacts including information about the planned bridge closure.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the project team.

NH DECK (49) SUPERSTRUCTURE AND DECK REPLACEMENT PROJECT OVER JEWELL BROOK

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is replacing the bridge deck and superstructures for Vail Bridge (Bridge #26) over Jewell Brook along Main Street (VT Route 103) in Ludlow Village. The work will be performed by Cold River Bridges, LLC out of Walpole, New Hampshire. Construction is anticipated to start in July and will be completed by the end of October. All work will take place during the day between sunrise and sunset. During construction the bridge will be closed for a period of 21 days, to begin no earlier than July 5 and end no later than October 1. During the closure, truck traffic will be guided to state routes, per a signed detour. Local traffic is advised to seek alternate routes.
