Fox Paw School is offering two free wildlife tracking classes this weekend!
Join us as we put together the stories of the land and talk about the hidden lives of our animal neighbors. Our non-human neighbors live rich and complex lives all around us, but unless we're taught how to see it, we'll never know what they're up so. Come join us as we identify bird song, blooming plants, and animal tracks and sign in order to interpret behavior, discuss the ways animals move across the landscape, and talk about how our wild neighbors are earning their livings.
On Saturday, June 4th, we'll have our regular meeting of Fox Paw tracking club. We'll gather at the Stranahan Town Forest in Marshfield from 9am-noon (at the Hollister Hill parking lot, just north of the Hollister Hill Farm and B&B)
On Sunday, June 5th, I'll be leading a tracking walk through the Hardwick Conservation Commission. We'll meet at the Hardwick Trails kiosk behind Hazen Union school in Hardwick village at 9am, and end around noon.
Classes are aimed at adults and mature teens. Dress for the weather, and bring your curiosity!
