The June 10 meeting of the Parkinson’s Support Group will be held at a new location at 3 Harbor View Drive, St Albans at Homestead, a Pillsbury senior Community in the conference room, next to the library. Due to a scheduling problem, “Deep Brain Implant” will be postponed. Dancing for Parkinson’s, a participatory videotape by Mark Morris dance group out of Brooklyn New York will be featured. Meetings times will return to 10 am to 11:30 am. There is no charge for this meeting. There is wheelchair accessibility.

The group is open to those with the disease, their caregivers, and family and loved ones. The monthly meetings can provide an open forum to share experiences with others who are coping with the illness, education, and support and provide recommendations for dealing with the day-to-day care. Participants can learn from each other, meet new people, have discussions, and listen to presentations.
