Cabot School families and community members are invited to join the 7th and 8th graders at their Blue Planet exhibition on Tuesday, June 7, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Cabot School Performing Arts Center (CSPAC). The interactive exhibition is the culmination of the middle schoolers' investigation this year into the health of the world's oceans.
At the event, students will share projects they designed and created themselves, including an exploration of ocean currents and cutting-edge ocean clean-up efforts, a graphic novel telling the story of single-use plastics, an original children's book focusing on marine creatures, a "save our seas" marketing campaign, a survey of ocean-friendly products and packaging, and fish "story puzzles." Visitors to the exhibition will have an opportunity to talk with students about their research and artifacts — and the successes and challenges of creating them. We hope to see you there!
