The Vergennes PEL Study is evaluating transportation alternatives that reduce the impact of large truck traffic on VT Route 22A and Downtown Vergennes to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality in Vergennes and the surrounding towns. The Study team is now compiling a long list of potential alternatives and developing draft alternatives screening criteria to be considered. The purpose of the public workshop is to gather feedback on the draft long list of alternatives and screening criteria.

The stakeholder and public feedback we have received to date has been invaluable, and we appreciate the participation and support. Please share meeting details with your friends, neighbors, contacts, or local organizations. Expanding stakeholder and public involvement is important to the Study and its outcomes.

If any questions arise, please contact the Vergennes PEL Study team at Vergennespel@gmail.com. And if you are not receiving this email directly from the Vergennes PEL study team, sign up for email updates at https://vergennespel.com/.

We look forward to seeing you at the virtual workshop!
