Book Launch of Another World: Poetry and Art by Young People from the Poetry Studio

Ann and Tony Gengarelly published a book, *Another World *Fall 2021.The book features poetry and art by young people ranging in age from 5-17.

Chard deNiord, former Vermont Poet Laureate wrote the foreword and renowned poet Naomi Shihab Nye wrote:

*"These students' poems and art are so beautiful and refreshing - they ring of truth in a time of lies. We need them." *

*Naomi Shihab Nye** -**Young People's Poet Laureate for 2019- 2022* There will be a Celebration of *Another World* this Friday at the BMAC from 5:30- 8:00.

The museum has been very supportive, setting up two tents outside the museum; setting up a mic system, etc.

So far about 12 students will be reading; mostly older students in H.S.; students who have graduated from H.S; students in college and students who have recently graduated from college.

It should be a very touching occasion.
