Did you miss the library plant sale Sat. and Sun.? Don't worry, there's more to be had, self-serve. And everything is half price! Stop by the library lawn, pick out your plants, do the math, and leave payment in a (provided) envelope in the book drop box.
What's left? Lots of beautiful paste tomato plants (San Marzano, Bellstar, Grandma Mary, and more), hot peppers, some eggplants and more. Healthy raspberry canes, ready to replant. Banana fingerling potatoes. Dahlia bulbs. Lush day lilies - yellow/pale yellow. A selection of perennials, large and small, plus assorted small houseplants.
Sale lasts until Tuesday. Then, some plants (plus new additions) may reappear at the book sale next weekend. It's a never-ending temptation to fill your garden.
Thank you to everyone who supports the plant sale. All funds go to the library - to buy books, to support special programs, and to help with maintenance. What a great community we have.
