The trail building work at the Krusch Nature Preserve will continue this weekend, June 4th & 5th
June 4th is the annual celebration of National trails day, https://americanhiking.org/national-trails-day/. Come and join us as we work on the last section of volunteer-built trail, the section leading up to the Overlook.
Once this is section complete there remains a Punch-List of smaller projects. I will publish a catalog of these tasks that folks can either tackle on their own on any day or as part of this season's work party schedule.
We will meet at the parking lot at 316 North Cambridge Rd. at 9:00am for a short orientation and walk in from there.
We will have a supply of tools but please feel free to bring any that you may have. Hard rakes, grass rakes, cutting tools, etc.
Bring work gloves, water, bug deterrent, snacks and so on. Small first-aid items would be a good idea.
