This Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th is the 30th anniversary of the Vermont Crafts Council's Open Studio Weekend. With over a hundred artisans from every region in the state participating, it's going to be an amazing opportunity to check out the work and workplaces of Vermont artists engaged in the creative process. This year, because it's the 30th anniversary, there are many more studios and artisans to choose from. There are four studios in the Northfield and Roxbury area that will be open this weekend so you don't even need to leave the valley if that works best for you. In Northfield, stop by Art, etc., Ginger Elaine Creations, Peter Evans Pottery and in Roxbury, check out Josh Axelrod Photography. Spend a few minutes or the whole weekend celebrating Vermont arts and the makers creating them.
