The Downtown Churches of Barre will hold a vigil for the victims of the Uvalde, TX school shooting on Thursday May 26, 5:30 - 6:30 pm at City Park in Barre by the War Memorial.

This is an opportunity for members of the community to grieve together and be connected by the strength of our community. Members of the clergy will offer prayers for healing, and resources will be offered to those who are struggling.

We know this is short notice, but we believe it is important for people to be able to be together as soon as possible in response to this horrific act. The vigil will not be a political event, but a chance for the community to gather and offer to one another the strength of love for healing and action.
