On Saturday, May 14 Jim Leamy, Health Officer of the town of Castleton, will talk about septic systems on lakes. Jim has guided many lakeside residents with improving their septic systems. He is very knowledgeable about what is allowed and needed to have a working system. The presentation takes place at 9 AM at the Kehoe Conservation Camp. The Lake Bomoseen Association is providing free coffee and is pleased to invite both LBA members and the public to attend. The LBA is presenting educational talks the second Saturday of each summer month. Future presentations are: July 12-Terry Moran, LBA water quality chair, will speak about milfoil and August 9-Don Thompson, historian and author, will speak on Lake Bomoseen's history.
