Please join us at this month's memorial event to celebrate the life and legacy of Village Harmony founder Larry Gordon (1945-2021).

A Public Event on Memorial Day Weekend:
LARRY FEST: IT'S TIME TO SING, EVERYONE! An outdoor tented celebration Saturday May 28 & Sunday May 29, 2022 At Goddard College, Plainfield, VT

Free with donations at the door. Advance registration required. Rain or shine—the main events will be under a HUGE tent. A great way to spend a drizzly weekend, if that's what the weather holds in store.

Saturday 9am-4pm: An all-day shape-note sing under the big top, with shared potluck lunch; scheduled contra- and Balkan dancing; mid-day memorial ceremony featuring Bread & Puppet Theater. We have published a special songbook for the event, which will be available to all participants as a loaner or for purchase at cost ($9).

Sunday 1-4pm: A benefit concert featuring Village Harmony alumni ensembles and friends, including: Northern Harmony, Bright Wings, Tim Eriksen, Moira Smiley, The Amidons, Social Band, Boston Harmony, Carl Linich Trio, Tenores de Aterúe, Mayfly and more.
