Bridgeside Books hosts author Christopher Shaw, professor of Creative Writing at Middlebury College and associate director of the Middlebury Fellowships in Environmental Journalism to discuss his new novel which follows the tales of an aging woodsman and bootlegger, the discovery of a diary, and travels during Prohibition from the villages northern New York to Montreal and a thrilling escape by canoe across the St. Lawrence River in the dead of winter.
We thought what better way to show off a novel featuring Prohibition and a bootlegger than by inviting Barr Hill to feature their gins! They will be on hand for tasting and to purchase.
