Interested in flexing your writing muscles a bit? Whether you consider yourself a fledgling writer or have been honing your craft for a while, you're invited to participate in an upcoming virtual writing workshop organized by Carpenter-Carse Library and led by Geoffrey Gevalt (https://geoffreygevalt.com/) -- writer, editor and founder of the Young Writers Project.
Please email meg@carpentercarse.org to register and receive the Zoom link to join on Wednesday 5/25 at 7 pm. More info here: https://www.carpentercarse.org/all-programs/writing-workshop-may2022 (And even if you can't make this one but are interested in being on the list for future sessions, please reach out!)
Sessions will last about 90 minutes (depends on the number of attendees), and will begin with a brief reading to help inspire participants, followed by a writing prompt. After a set amount of personal writing time, participants will be invited to share their work and gather others' reactions in a supportive, respectful environment.
Zoom offers a live transcription service for improved accessibility. If you require other accommodations in order to participate or have questions/concerns related to accessibility, please reach out as soon as possible to Meg Malone at meg@carpentercarse.org
