Rain or shine! Bring your own chair or blanket!
"Fresh-Air History" will feature 5 original vignettes about the history of Rochester, its local characters, and the land itself, all based on historical letters, diaries, interviews, newspaper articles, and personal conversations with long-time residents. The plays will be performed outdoors at locations around the Rochester Park, beginning with an introduction about the history of the Town Green and her connection to it by Amy Braun.
From "a history of Vermont in 10 minutes" recounted by Vermont personified to the four generations of Drs. Huntington who practiced at the Huntington House to the colorful stories of Richard Curtis to the mysteries of West Hill found on the Chester Smith farm, this show has something for everyone. We hope you can make it!
