James Kochalka, Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont, will be offering a session for the Vermont Festival of the Arts "Crafty Kids" series on Thursday, August 22nd. He will help us use simple shapes and techniques to develop characters for our own cartoons, offer ideas for making our characters memorable and distinct and will lead us in a fun and rewarding afternoon of drawing and creativity. Everyone will learn to draw their very own cartoon characters and set them in a story!

This is a free event made possible and will take place at the Waitsfield United Church on Thursday, August 22nd at 3:30 p.m.
