Whipstock Hill Preservation Society and Vermont Coverts are sponsoring a workshop about amphibians on Saturday, June 7th, at 10 AM. The presenter is Jim Andrews, chairman of the Vermont Reptile Atlas Project. Those interested in a 1 1/2 hour field trip through hill and swamp can sign up for $20 (science teachers, $10). Tick protection is strongly advised. The presentation alone is $5. Jim will show slides and discuss the identification, distribution, natural history and conservation of local reptiles and amphibians, with plenty of time for questions. To register and get directions email Roland Smith at docponds@sover.net.
