The Cross Vermont Trail Association will officially open the 200-foot long Winooski River Bridge in East Montpelier on Saturday June 4 from 2-3:30. Ribbon-cutting, bridge dedication, honoring donors, and short guided walks by board members to explain trail work happening over the next 2 years. Please park at Montpelier Civic Center on Gallison Hill Road unless special accommodation needed. Walk or ride the pleasant one-mile river trail to the bridge site. Open to the public, no registration needed.
