THE CIRCLE OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE
Story Circle / Thursday, May 19 @ 6-8 pm on Zoom
Creation Lab / Tuesday May 24 @ 6-9 pm - location TBD

Are you a musician, actor, dancer, poet, storyteller or performing artist in any stretch of the imagination? We are reaching out with an opportunity for dreaming about the future of the performing arts in Vermont! In Tandem Arts is teaming up with Vermont Commons School graduating senior Finn Verdonk to host The Circle of Future Performance (COFP). We hope you will participate! More about the project:

The Circle of Future Performance is a teen-led initiative to incite new opportunities in the arts for young Vermonters. The project is for emerging artists to explore the potentiality of the performing arts to lead transformative change in our communities. The Story Circle is like a group interview where we listen to your thoughts, experiences and dreams. Its a great way to connect with people. The Future Thinking Lab is a space to take what we heard and create a "dream program" for young people in the performing arts. You are welcome to come to one or both of the gatherings.

On Thursday, May 19 from 6-8 pm we will host a virtual meet-up and story circle to interview all of you! The following Tuesday, May 24 from 6-9 pm we will vote to meet either on Zoom or IRL in Burlington's South End Arts District for a "design lab" -- basically a space to create a dreamy, new performing arts program at In Tandem Arts.

Interested in participating? Please contact Finn at fverdonk@vermontcommons.org and let us know you are interested or have any questions. Also, indicate if you prefer virtual meetings or in-person in Burlington.
