Summer Sinfonia Camp

Our Summer Sinfonia Camp is a music camp offering orchestra/chamber string instruction (Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass) along with outdoor fun in the sun. If students play a wind or brass instrument, please reach out to music director, Patrick O'Connell. Kids will get ensemble experience in the midst of the Green Mountains, with outdoor activities (swimming, hiking, livestock grooming). The week will culminate with a concert at 3:00PM on Saturday, July 9th.

Dates and Times: July 5-9, from 9:00AM-3:00PM

Age range: 7-12 years of age.

Location: 57 Houran Rd. Bennington, VT 05201

Level of Music Experience: Between 1-4 years of experience on string instrument. Students with less or more experience, please reach out to Patrick O'Connell at patrickoconnell.music@gmail.com

SUMMER EVENINGS SINFONIA
featuring Light & Fun, POPS-style music

WHAT IS SUMMER EVENINGS SINFONIA?
Summer Evenings Sinfonia provides a chamber ensemble experience for instrumentalists of all ages (kids, parents, and community members). Members will rehearse together on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 5 weeks. We will hold an outdoor concert on Thursday, August 4. Rain Date of August 5.

WHAT ENSEMBLES WILL BE INCLUDED?
We will offer two ensembles: Rep and Sinfonia.
Rep is geared toward string players with 1-3 years of experience.
Sinfonia welcomes wind/brass/string players with 3+ years of experience on their instrument.

DATES AND FEES
Rehearsals are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

"Repertory Ensemble" (our less-experienced group) will rehearse from 5:00-5:45PM. "Sinfonia" will rehearse from 6:00-7:00PM.
