Hey everyone! My name's Lauren, I work at the counter at Capitol Grounds and am gonna be hosting a fundraiser THIS WEDNESDAY at the shop in order to raise funds for a woman's school fees in Kenya. Her name is Chari, I've known her since she was just 5 years old (now she's 18!) And for the past 5 years I've been supporting her through funding her tuition at the primary school she attends, Manuel Alexander, off of the coast of Diani, Kenya. All day at the coffee shop $1 from every drip coffee sale will go towards this fundraiser, but I'm also always looking for patrons to support her endeavors. Just $1/month can make a huge difference.
