Students from the Vermont Youth Lobby and the Vermont Student Anti-Racism Network have joined forces to host a statewide Youth Voice Summit on May 20th from 8-9 am to 2-3 pm at the Vermont State House. The overarching theme will be youth voice and lowering the voting age, and sub-themes include racial, climate, and economic justice. Young people are invited to choose a subtopic and attend engaging projects and events throughout the day related to that theme. There will also be games, pizza from Woodbelly Pizza, opportunities to work on our own projects, and networking time during the day, as well as youth and adult speakers.
