How farmers farm makes a big difference and many farmers are adopting practices that help to improve and/or clean up the environment. You can learn more about this and about how you too can help when you visit the Northfield Farmers' Market on May 17th.

Marilia Muschett, an ECO AmeriCorps member serving with the VT Agency of Agriculture, and Kathleen "Kat" Lewis, Agriculture Conservation Specialist with the Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District, will host an information booth from 3-6 pm on the Common. They're eager to talk with you, to answer your questions about environmental conservation, and to describe steps farmers are taking to improve water quality in Vermont.
