This Saturday, June 7, is National Trails Day, and the Hinesburg Trails Committee is inviting trail users to help spruce up the trails at Geprags Park and on the Russell Farm. We will be meeting in the parking area behind the Town Offices at 9:00 a.m., split into two teams and work until around noon. Our rain date is Sunday, June 8, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
We will mostly be lopping back overhanging branches and removing deadfalls from the trails so please bring your favorite loppers and handsaws. We'll have some extra tools on hand if you can't bring your own.
Please bring water and a snack. Wear boots, long pants, gloves and a hat. Bug dope and tick precautions are a good idea.
Helpful children and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
