Veterinary Care for Veterans & Disabled First Responder

The Mitzvah Fund (Local Veterinary Non Profit that provides care to the animals of Veterans, Low Income Seniors, Disabled First responders and unhoused neighbors) and Paws of War (National Non profit that provides veterinary assistance to Veterans and Disabled First Responders and also trains and places PTSD and TBI service dogs) will be partnering to care for our local veterans/disabled first responders dogs and cats.

Please go to https://pawsofwar.org/ to register for appointment. Exams, Vaccines and heatworm testing will be provided by the Mitzvah Fund. Flea preventatives, heartworm preventative provided while supplies last to attendees. Please bring official military or police identification with you.

The Mitzvah Fund is available to our local veterans, low income seniors and registered unhoused neighbors weekly. Please go to https://www.themitzvahfundvt.org/ to apply. The Mitzvah Fund specializes in surgery and dentistry along with basic care and prevention.
