Event for Lucy's House for the Prevention of Homeless Pets
On September 14, 2014 from 10-3 we will be having a Pet Expo and a Dog walk. Money raised will support our pet food and medical funds to help keep pets in their homes. As our website is updated in the next few weeks at www.lucyshouse.org we will have forms available. We are looking for vendors who make animal related products or have animal related businesses to attend our event for free. This is our way of supporting those who have supported us in the past and allowing us to support local businesses. Booth spaces are limited and are inside the State Building. Table spaces that allow a four foot table are also available.
Our event hopes to draw attention to pet nutrition, support better behavior in animals, and allow people to gain useful information on chronic diseases in pets that can be avoidable.
Area vets will be coming, VINS, and many other organizations.
The dog walk will require a registration of $10.00 which will get your and your furry friend a doggie pack filled with goodies. Dog walk forms are available by emailing us at lucyshouseforpets@yahoo.com or in the coming weeks on our website.
Admission will be charged for this event and public dogs will be allowed on site after the dog walk.
