Following a brief Clarendon Historical Society annual meeting, Paul Searles, a history professor at Northern VT Univ. at Lyndon, will give a talk about the rerouting of Rt 7 in the 1960's. It had a profound impact on Clarendon slicing through farms, diminishing tourist traffic, and affecting small businesses that relied upon the traffic flow up the old Rt 7. Share recollections that you might have. All are welcome. Upstairs at the Clarendon Community Center (accessible by elevator) above Bailey Library on Moulton Ave.
