HOW TO JOIN: Stop by Northfield Common anytime from 11 AM - 4 PM to see the complete streets demo, or join us for a scheduled session beginning at 10AM.

Join AARP Vermont, Local Motion, Community Workshop and the Town of Northfield and learn how to design and install a temporary street demonstration project, activate places with seating and activities, and gather input on making changes permanent.

ABOUT THE VERMONT PLACEMAKING MEET-UPS: AARP Vermont and Community Workshop are hosting free Placemaking Meet-Ups for anyone working on placemaking or interested in getting started. Each features a different theme, and will be a chance to explore placemaking examples, resources and tools. Placemaking is about strengthening the connection between people and the places. It's about reinventing and re-engaging with public spaces so they are once again the hub of public life. Meet-ups are a place to share knowledge, problem solve together, get inspired by the work happening across the state, and walk away with actionable projects and ideas.
