Stress Mastery: How to Use Loving Kindness to Enhance Your Well-being

Stress can be pervasive and we may have not been taught how to handle it. The effects that prolonged, chronic stress has on the body are no joke. Psychological stress has the potential to negatively impact your immune system function, mental well-being, digestion, metabolic health, body weight, and more! Having effective strategies for stress management in your daily life will be highly relevant.
I am excited to be kicking off a workshop series on topics related to optimal well-being!
The first workshop in this series will be on stress health and well-being. The Stress Mastery workshop will incorporate concepts from Loving-Kindness approaches, a modality with ancient roots AND modern evidence-basis!
This interactive workshop will cover pertinent research-based and heart-centered approaches to stress management.
In the workshop we will:
- Guide you through a Loving-Kindness meditative practice focused on reducing tension in your body
- Arm you with relevant evidence and tools to support you in day-to-day stress management
- Help you embrace positive emotions and reduce negative thoughts to enrich your well-being, including factors related to your relationships
- Bonus: Our host site, Tula Kula Wellness Collective, will lead movement breaks with simple exercises focused on tension relief
