Join the Friends of Milton Cemeteries on Saturday June 4, 2022, at the West Milton Cemetery, on Bear Trap Road Milton, Vermont at 9 :00 a.m. We will be re-setting monuments and cleaning them. We will have a lesson on how to fix a broken monument. Tom Giffin of the Vermont Old Cemetery Association will be with us. Bring work gloves and if a sunny day it is suggested to wear a hat. If light rain dress accordingly. It is very rewarding to honor those within our cemeteries. Many people locally, from around Vermont and from across the United States visit our cemeteries. The Town of Milton does what it can to keep the grounds. The Town does not have the resources to care for stones and other projects.
