The Williston Federated Church invites the community to participate in a food and hygiene drive. In addition to food items for the Williston Food Shelf, we will also be collecting hygiene items for the Joint Urban Ministry Project (JUMP) in Burlington. Ninety percent of the clients served by JUMP are homeless. JUMP provides clients with much needed personal care items and cleaning supplies. Personal Care items needed: Bar Soap, Deodorant, Razors/shaving cream, Shampoo/Conditioner, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Toilet Paper - Cleaning Supplies: All-purpose cleaner "Spic N Span/Lysol".
The following items are in short supply at the Food Shelf: Laundry Detergent, Juice, Cereal, Granola Bars, Fruit Snacks, microwave popcorn, individual applesauce/fruit cups, cake/brownie/cookie mixes, canned pasta sauce, canned soup, canned fruit. We DO NOT need any pasta please.
Just drive into the parking lot behind the church and someone will help unload your car. As a thank you, all who stop by with a donation, will receive a pansy from a local nursery.
