Neighbors! As you may have seen in the Other Paper, the SB Farmers Market opens this weekend for the '14 season. Please join me at opening day, this Sunday, June 1st, from 10am-2pm at 550 Dorset St. SB High School/Library green. There will be lots of familiar faces with some new vendors as well; including live Maine lobster, dog treats, wild edibles and crafts. Fresh produce is bountiful in addition to goat products, beef, pork, and chicken. It wouldn't be the same market without the maple treats and superb cupcakes to follow an incredible lunch selection. The Community Library’s colorful “Rita Book” bookmobile will be open for business again, this year all hours of the market, 10am-2pm, on a weekly basis. The P.O.P. Club is again open to children ages 5-12, where they can learn about fresh produce and get a $3 token of their own to spend on fresh food from a farmer. AMEASing will be playing music from 11-1.
Location is the Middle School parking lot.
