Saturday is Vermont's Green Up Day. Are you looking for something impactful to do for a couple of hours?
The Jericho / Underhill Lions club will be working at the Pavilion at Mills River Park from 9:30 - 11:30 to clean up one of our towns gems. Work needs to be done fixing picnic tables, trimming brush, painting and sprucing up the surrounding area. Plus, we will be building a ramp to ensure everyone can enjoy the Pavilion this summer. The Jericho / Underhill Lions raised the money many year ago to build the pavilion. This spring we want to go back to ensure it is as special as ever.
Bring a pair of gloves, a power drill, rakes, a shovel, brooms, etc.
I am excited to spend a little time making our amazing community just a little better. Hope to see you out there.
PS. The Jericho / Underhill Lions Strawberry festival will be back this June. Date depends on when the strawberries are ripe. More details to come soon. Think SUN!
