"Horodno Burning" Author Talk with Michael Freed-Thall
Vermont's own nationally-known author Michael Freed-Thall presents his latest book, Horodno Burning, a love letter to literature, freedom, and Jewish survival set in turbulent 19th century Russia. Freed-Thall explores the forces that led to the migration of one-and-a-half million Jews from czarist Russia to America through a captivating, historically authentic, and movingly romantic love story set in a time of extraordinary trials.
