"Essex Community Historical Society opens its 2014 Tales & Treasures of Essex History series with its Annual Family Day & Museum Open House on Sunday, June 1, from 1 - 4 PM at the museum, located at Routes 15 & 128 in Essex Center. Activities will be held on the Essex Common, with face painting, a costume contest, museum tours, door prizes and refreshments. Jericho musician Derek Burkins will present and interactive music performance for the whole family. Rain location Memorial Hall. Admission free."
