It's time to Green Up the Pine Street Barge Canal!

On Green Up Day, Saturday, May 7, come gather with neighbors to start to pull the years (or decades) of accumulated garbage out of the woods at the Barge Canal. It will be a first, long overdue step toward caring for this wild land in the heart of the South End. We will be working from 9 AM to 4 PM, rain or shine. Come for an hour or stay all day. Please wear appropriate clothes (long pants, long-sleeved shirt, sturdy boots, hat). Bring work gloves and safety glasses if you have them and water to drink. Lunch will be provided by the People's Kitchen. Let's come together as a community on Green Up Day and start reclaiming this public asset. Questions?
