Pianist, Composer, and UVM prof David Feurzeig is embarking on an ambitious project to play a free concert in every one of Vermont's 251 (soon to be 252!) towns and cities over the next 4 years, to celebrate and support Vermont's local communities while making a statement about sustainable music touring, and emphasizing our high quality local arts scene. The project launches with a FREE solo recital at the UVM Recital Hall this Friday at 7:30 pm, which will include Beethoven's first sonata, Bach's first keyboard suite and Scarlatti's first and 251st keyboard sonatas. A reception will follow.
