The Huntington Recreation Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 3, 6 pm, at the Rec Field. Masks are optional for those attending as the meeting is outdoors.

The main topic of discussion is the replacement of the surface of the basketball court, now also used regularly for pickleball. The Rec Committee has received a state communities recreation grant, which will fund a portion of the project, and the Huntington voters approved money in an article at on Town Meeting Day. The court has cracks and chips, which make it problematic, especially for the older people playing pickleball. Work will be done after June 30.
