After two years without an in-person event due to COVID, the Vermont Corporate Cup Challenge and State Agency Race returns to Montpelier on May 19 , 2022, starting at 6:00 PM in front of the Vermont State House. This 5-kilometer walk/run event is presented by the Union Mutual Insurance Company and sponsored by the Vermont Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Proceeds support physical fitness, wellness and sports initiatives throughout Vermont, including bicycle and snowshoe loan programs, trauma-informed yoga sessions, multi-use/multi-generational trails, adaptive sports, learn-to-ski/snowboard programs for youth, worksite wellness programs and Vermont Senior Games.
