You've probably noticed that the snow is finally gone and our roadsides and ditches are looking as bad as ever. Vermont's state-wide Green Up Day is taking place this Saturday, May 7th. Pick a road, grab a bag and do your part by filling it up with all the roadside rubbish you can find!
In Shoreham, we're making it as easy as possible to get involved, so you can grab bags at the following locations during normal business hours from now until Green Up Day: Golden Russet Farm, Halfway House Restaurant, Shoreham Town Clerk's Office, Platt Memorial Library and the Shoreham Post Office.
Filled Green Up Day bags can be dropped off to the north of the fire house any time between now and noon on Green Up Day. Again, bags should be dropped off next to the fire house. PLEASE do not leave full bags on the roadside if possible. Thank you for helping clean up our roadsides and for helping get the word out about Green Up Day in Shoreham!
