Your Voice Helped Stop the Burlington International Airport Expansion! LET'S CELEBRATE !

On Thursday, 4/28, the South Burlington Airport Rezoning Task Force voted unanimously to DENY the BIA's application to rezone the 11 acres in dispute, stopping the airport from FURTHER encroaching on the Chamberlin neighborhood.

On this beautiful GREEN-UP DAY, May 7, 2022, let's CELEBRATE our first victory in this fight to keep BIA from expanding. Bring your picnic and your family. Meet near the old Dog Park off Kirby Street and demonstrate the strength of our community!

Bring your own picnic. Enjoy conversations with your neighbors. After the picnic, we'll provide everyone with GREEN-UP bags to pick-up the area!

When: Saturday, May 7, starting at 11:30am.
Where: Park on Kirby Rd. Extension, near former Dog Park.
Bring: Your own picnic, lawn chairs, blankets: we'll provide beverages!
